What it does
Project launcher
Recent projects, model selection, plan mode, and one-click resume of past sessions.
Real terminal underneath
Full PTY sessions in tabs and splits — a complete terminal even without Claude.
Attention alerts
The menu-bar M lights up, notifies, and (optionally) chimes when Claude needs input while you're elsewhere.
Drop files to type paths
Drag anything onto a session and its shell-quoted path lands on the command line.

Every shortcut and Claude Code flag, openable as a tab beside a live session.

Web preview pane
Hit PREVIEW in the tab strip during a session and a browser splits in beside it — the session keeps focus. ⌘D unsplits; SWAP flips it left or right like any tab.
Live dev servers
Vite, Next, anything on localhost embeds live with hot reload, with GO / RELOAD / BROWSER controls. Sites that refuse to embed open in your default browser instead.
Opens on your terms
The pane starts on a themed intro with your last URL pre-filled — nothing loads until you say so.
Claude can open it
From a session, opening mother://preview?url=… pops the preview at that URL, split beside the session. Sessions export $MOTHER_PREVIEW, and it's in the Command Reference.
The real model, shown
The status bar's MODEL field resolves what default actually is — OPUS, SONNET, or HAIKU — instead of just saying DEFAULT.
Switch models in place
Click MODEL on a live session and pick Opus, Sonnet, or Haiku. MOTHER sends /model, Claude Code makes the switch and confirms it, and the label updates.
