All 53 widgets render like instruments on one console — mono type, hairline panels, scanlines, and phosphor glow that's really there, not a screenshot trick. Clocks, weather, reminders, focus timers, habits, Apple Music controls, system stats, stocks, notes and more, drawn as one machine.
Eleven themes cover the whole range of the aesthetic: green phosphor straight off the Nostromo, amber monochrome, cryo-bay teal, ice blue, white-on-black mono, black-on-white paper, amber-on-white sepia, Classic Mac in platinum, light, and dark, and a native macOS theme that follows the system's light and dark mode. Change the theme once and every widget already on your desktop re-tunes itself — from CRT green to classic Mac platinum in one click.
They're working instruments, too. Tap a reminder to check it off. Start a focus session and watch the countdown burn on your wallpaper. Skip tracks from the Apple Music remote — the play button responds the moment you press it. Log a glass of water. Follow three stocks. Watch CPU, memory, GPU, network and storage, refreshed as often as every 30 seconds. Check sunrise, sunset and the moon phase — twelve categories of live data.
ROOK lives quietly in your menu bar: close the window and it steps out of the Dock while every widget keeps working.
