Rancho Cucamonga had plenty of listings scattered across review sites and nothing that read like a guide. Foothill & Vine is that guide: where to eat Friday night, what's free this weekend, which trail still has water — written by people who actually go, and honest about what's closed.
The whole thing is built on a promise most local sites quietly break, so the design had to make it visible. Every listing carries its neighborhood, price band, and rating, and the sections are labeled the way people actually search — free things to do, happy hour, family and kids, this weekend. A "verified and kept current" header sits over the picks, and hours come with the honest caveat to call ahead.
Two stories anchor the editorial. The Cucamonga Valley grew more wine grapes than Napa and Sonoma combined in 1920, down from twenty thousand acres to four hundred. And Foothill Boulevard is Route 66, which turns a hundred in 2026 — a centennial the guide runs all year, stop by stop. Four neighborhood pages, a weekly Thursday newsletter, and a category system that covers the city round out the rest.
